Lasting Beach Memories

A visitor beside me while sitting on the beach.

The couple behind Clint seem very happy embracing!

The pier at Sunset Beach

The single crab we caught and released within minutes.
It was fun just being together on the beach at night.

The SkyWheel at Myrtle Beach.  My daughter, son-in-law and
grandson took a ride on it.

The look of diamonds glistening on the water.

The sunrise on the morning we left for home.

The shrimp trawler, Miss Carolina Ann

Our brie cheese, fig preserves topped mini toasts!
I do love these things!

We enjoyed these nightly reflections

It was Canyon's idea to do a "cheers" as he called it.  :-)

Our dream home on Sunset Beach which is
north of North Myrtle Beach where we stayed.

Clint strolling again on the beach

A "drawing" done by the sweeping movement
of the grass.

View from the beach at night.

I would have never dreamed this was October.

Welcome back, dear Cindy! These are fantastic pictures! I learned from Bouncin' Barb, a blog friend who lives in the North Myrtle Beach area, that the weather you enjoyed was the best of the season. That news made me very happy because weather is always a big question mark. It's wonderful to see images of the area that I visited so often when I was in my 20s. I realize that development has changed the Grand Strand considerably since then, but the foaming sea, the sand, the sunshine, blue sky, invigorating breeze and curious, hungry birds all remain the same. My favorite picture was the one of nature's drawing in the sand, a work of art that would be hard to duplicate. I hope you, Clint and your loved ones feel rested and refreshed and share many happy memories of your vacation.

Very nice beach impression and great pics.

I like the one of Clint, strolling on the beach. Clint is going away and a gull is coming. Great snapshot.

Have a beautiful weekend and greetings

Hi Cindy & Clint, I am here back again...
I am glad that you have enjoyed your vacations at Sunset Beach. (((Gorgeous beach!!)))
Your pictures are so inspirational, and I truly enjoy reading your blog, sweet Cindy.
Thank you for sharing your outstanding talents with the world!!
You have already inspired me, Cindy.
God keeps blessing you!!
I've composed a new design for all my blogs, if you care to visit, you will see...
Next year in 2012, I make plans to visit my daughter, Cindy and my 3 grandchildren in New York. I also make plans to buy a home in the States. My hubby Paul, who may retire soon, prefers Southern Florida, my daughter prefers New York, and I would love to live in North Carolina. I shall see who wins a new home. I need peace and quiet to get inspired...
Blessings,
Poet Starry Dawn.

Oh, Cindy!! I forgot to tell you that I love shrimps, lobster tails and Seafood. Paul (71 years old) is a Physician and Surgeon at the Emergency Room at a Public Hospital in South America. I met him there. When he retires, we shall move back home to the States with my dear family, if that is God's will. I may buy a home closed to the beach in Southern Florida. See you soon, sweetheart Cindy.
Love Always from Poet Starry Dawn.

It WAS one heckuva week, wasn't it? And OMG, the food! That lobster pie Tracy and I had at the Chesapeake seafood restaurant damn near killed me---of course, it was my fault 'cause I wouldn't/couldn't stop feedin' my face.

Who'da' thunk that the beach in October would be the best ever?

Cindy! Thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot that you took the time to write something so nice. I deeply appreciate the support of all of my blogger friends as I go through this tough time. Unfortunately my mother has to have her bone marrow tested because her neutrophils in her white blood cells are low. The doctors are trying to figure out why this is happening. She's just hoping she can come to rome for my sisters wedding. It'sd never easty when someone you love isn't well. Hopefully it will all work out. I have to have a positive attitude! My blogging will definitely get back to normal once the wedding is over :) I see you enjoyed a lovely time at Myrtle beach, it looks like such a beautiful place! I hope you have a lovely relaxing time!

It looks like you and Clint had a great time! I like your photos. A shrimp trawler is something you would never see at our local beaches.

Have a Nice Day :-)

Some fabulous shots here, Cindy. Looks like Clint strolled onto the set of a commercial or something in that beach scene. And, that shot of the sand markings is really neat.
