Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress

Today I finished this portrait I started a long time ago.  I was quite pleased with the way she turned out.  Now I look forward to starting something new.  Some artists have different projects going on at once. There's been a lot of water under the bridge since I started this painting. During the mean time I did complete some rather daunting commissions and other painting projects.  Liking to complete a project before I start on something new, I'm looking forward to my next project.

Very nice, Cindy. I'll admit I am one of those who must have several paintings going at once because with watercolor I often go back and paint before an area is thoroughly dry and then I get in trouble....opps. The multiple projects gives me something that is dry to work on without spoiling a good thing. I learned that the hard way. Hope things are good in your neck of the woods. Glad those high winds have passed. :)

Hi Cindy. Beautiful painting. She looks like a lady from the glamourous days of the 50's. A bit like Grace Kelly! I love the simple black dress. So elegant.
