Spring Snow

March Sunrise

Clint and I are back to our regular walking, I admit there are mornings when I really dread it but it sure feels good to get it behind us. It feels even better to get on the scale and have lost a pound. I think brisk walking is one of the best exercises. A good time to see different scenes of nature.

Pencil Portrait of Clinton

Today I am posting a just-completed pencil portrait of nine year old Clinton. Sometimes I wonder if the simple pencil is overlooked as an art medium. It is so forgiving, not like the sometimes uncontrollable watercolor.

Snowy Texas Morn

In my previous post, I had made a simple statement: Think Spring!

Today we had record breaking snow in Plano, Texas. It was the clingy kind that makes all the greenery beautiful. Reminds me of snows in East Tennessee.
