Breakfast of Champions: Frog Legs

Saturday morning I was watching a murder of crows near our mail box in front our our house.  This crow was pecking around in the mulch for worms, or so I assumed.  I made a few pictures from inside the house and then showed them to Clint on my camera.

Clint says, "worm", it is a "FROG"!

Poor frog but such is nature ...

Hope everyone's Monday goes smoothly ...

I hope the poor frog was not a father on father's day. Heh heh.

From my rear window (good movie title) I have witnessed "murders" of this type, Cindy. I have a bird and squirrel feeding station and three birdbaths. Every once in a while a hawk or other large predatory bird swoops down and carries away a mourning dove. Such spectacles are upsetting but I get over them by remembering that I didn't make the rules of nature and everybody's gotta eat. Have a safe and happy week, dear Cindy!

Awesome photo, Cindy. As you said, that's nature, the circle of life, etc. Let's all have a little hakuna matata today. God's peace!
