One Summer Day Watercolor Painting
After staying away for much too long on my blog, today I thought I would post a photo of a watercolor painting that I finished a few months ago. I just listed it also on etsy.com. I had a mental image of the future painting and then there was the task of painting what was on my mind. A big task. I do admit I worked on this painting off and on for months. It measures 17" by 23" and was painted on slightly textured illustration board. I love the combination of the old white-painted wood, the red/pinkish color of the roses and the stark black of the raven. You could also exchange the word "crow" for "raven". Thanks for taking a look at a moment of one summer day.
