My two mile journey today in photographs:
Looking back at our quiet street, we are blessed to be able to live in such a wonderful neighborhood. |
This a small Texas ant hill, I have a feeling the green leaf in the center is "dinner". |
Nearby busy intersection yet it is very quiet in our neighborhood. |
Forelorn looking little scarecrow awaiting spring! |
Our local library ... Plano's libraries are first class! |
The under appreciated dandelion adds a beautiful spot of yellow! |
Piled up newspapers ... I always wonder if there is not a neighbor they feel comfortable asking to save their newspapers? |
Signs, signs, everywhere are signs,
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind ... as the old song goes.

Looks like a great walk! You got shots of lots of things I seldom even notice. I see the ants are having a salad for din-din. Ha.
No rod sightings on your walk, Cindy? (LOL) Thanks for a great set of pictures from around your locality. I hope Milo the cat will soon be found!
I enjoyed looking at your pics for a moment i felt as if i'm actually there walking the same path and seeing the same things you see. The yellow flower is such a cheery sight but is often overlooked:-)
Thanks to Clint, Shady and Minakichu for taking the time to visit my blog and comment:
Clint, the leaf was dinner...those are vegan ants.
Shady Del, I had no more rod sightings on my walk but Clint had what looked like honest-to-goodness orbs in one of his photos from his walk. Strange happenings with the Ellison :-D
Minakichu, thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and your thoughtful comment. I sure enjoyed reading your blog this morning, later I did indeed get out my red lipstick!

JIlda and I have good friends that live in Plano. Charlie and Karen Brown.
You wouldn't by chance know them would you? He owns a clothing manufacturing business.
Jilda worked for him for years. Very neat guy.
You have such a wonderful eye Cindy! My favorite is the dandelion...and the signs! Thanks for taking us along!
