This morning Clint and I had watched a full length *movie and walked
our two miles before daylight. (7:40 am)
*The movie was Welcome to the Rileys", we both agreed it
was entertaining and we liked the performance of James Gandolfini. |

Have you ever seen anything like this? I was
almost brought to tears when I saw this. |
P.S. This bear photo was published in The Knoxville News Sentinel, Knoxville, Tennessee, on March 3, 2011. No, we didn't see this on our daily walk! :-D The photographer is Ann Wilson of Maryville, Tennessee. These bears were in the Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountains.

You are the loner bird on the left. I am the loner bird on the right.
And I love that momma bear-baby bear photograph, too. Really unique shot. Great post!
It's good us two loner birds got together! ;~D
Caww! Caww!!!
Thanks for taking us on another walking tour, Cindy! I've been up since 5am myself. It's wonderful to get a lot of things accomplished before daylight, isn't it? Your caption reminded me of the excellent 1965 movie A Patch of Blue starring Sidney Poitier and Shelley Winters. The bird body language picture reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's terrifying movie, another favorite of mine. I would like to know why both you and Clint see yourselves as loners. That might be a good topic for another post. Animal instinct always amazes me and that photo of the Tennessee bears warmed my heart. Happy St. Patty's day to you, dear friend!
Great pictures and thanks for sharing your morning walk.
greetings

Shady and Petra, it is nice to see your pictures and words on my blog again and know you've been here! Thank you as always!
Shady, yes, I used the description of "a patch a blue" from the movie title on the cloud picture. A favorite movie, I was always in awe of Elizabeth Hartman and was saddened by her untimely death in 1987. That is a good blog topic; being a loner. I hope to do one on this soon.
Petra, yesterday I was in Clint's office and he showed me the pictures of your neighbor's cat having the kittens in your bed! Those were some of the sweetest pictures I have ever seen. I have to show this to my daughter.
Have a wonderful weekend and keep us updated on the kittens.
Hi Cindy I finally remembered to follow you! I'll link your blog on my photography blog so I can keep up. Here's mine if you're interested Greetings from Monmouth County.
Really nice photos!
I love the pictures thank you for sharing them with us
